Bringing playful innovation to Catholic schooling.
The Servite College website needed to embody their unique approach to education while serving their community’s practical needs. We delivered a platform that balances clean, intuitive design with a few unexpected twists along the way.
School websites often fall into the trap of being purely functional. From the beginning of this project, we saw an opportunity to create something different – a platform that maintains the professionalism expected of a leading Catholic college while incorporating subtle interactive elements that reward curious visitors. This approach spanned micro-animations that guide users through the navigation to an Easter egg that lets visitors play with falling geometric shapes (just click “Let’s Get Creative” in the footer and see for yourself).
“We approached Start to help redesign our website after researching and contacting many other agencies. I was impressed with Start’s unique approach and innovative ideas. They were amazing to deal with, from the first session right through to design and implementation. It was a seamless experience and was extremely easy and they completed the project exactly on time.
Thank you to the whole team for your guidance and patience!”

Servite College
A fresh perspective on school communications.
Working within Servite’s established brand guidelines, we introduced touches of purple to complement their existing palette, creating visual depth without compromising their identity. The clean, white-based design puts content first while maintaining visual interest through considered typography and subtle animations.
The reimagined menu system makes it easy for parents to find exactly what they need, be it term dates, curriculum information, or news about the latest school events. Here’s our take on making a school website that doesn’t feel like one.
