Crissy epitomises our ‘never stop starting’ ethos. She recently won Gold in the Australian Talking Olympics and is known to enjoy pilates, yoga, cocktails and chaos. Usually all at the same time. It’s medically impossible for Crissy to whisper.

Tommy is Perth’s 3rd best kitchen DJ and a Fred Again fanatic. Known for his smooth, beautiful code and magnificent mane of hair, Tom is also considered to be Wish List’s Timothee Chalamet. Tip, never go to a karaoke bar with Tom. Ever.

Sophie often uses words that don’t exist and occasionally forgets how to walk. She is a fanatical fan of Taylor Swift and once saw a cow that looked like Harry Styles. In a field. Down South somewhere.

By building a web and marketing agency today, we’re making some wild guesses about what’s coming tomorrow. In mid 2022 the web was awash with The Metaverse and NFT buzz. By the end of the year generative AI had replaced them as the next logical step forward. What’s next? Not a clue – but we’re here for it and embrace it with open arms.

We’re working with clients that share the same passion for design, marketing and technology as we do. Clients that recognise our world is increasingly digital and digital is evolving far quicker than we could have imagined.

The imaginators

We believe in tomorrow (which is probably a Michael Jackson song title)

We’re an imaginative machine, continuously in a state of trial and test. The Start path wasn’t pre-determined. Our only business plan was written in 2015 and deleted in 2016.

We’re figuring it out as we go. We try something, see what feels right, and if it doesn’t work, we change course. Some would say we’re winging it. We may or may not agree. It depends on the day.

As Neil once said….onwards, upwards, and occasionally sideways.

Doing great and having an even greater time whilst we do it? Heck yeah.

We’re a diverse bunch of oddballs, but every one of us brings different things to the table to make it a bloody lush banquet. Sometimes it’s a left-of-field, bonkers design idea. Sometimes it’s wild and wacky functionality flexes. Other times it’s cinnamon scrolls (you a G, Paris).

Whatever it might be that brought us here, there’s one solid reason that keeps us here. That makes us go the extra mile. Then walking a few more for the fun of it. 

It’s the free coffee! It’s the free training! It’s the perks! It’s the bean bags!!!
