Start was approached by St. Brigid’s College in late 22′, to redesign and redevelop their existing website. The former website incorporated older visual design elements, which St. Brigid no longer felt aligned with their current brand and positioning. Alongside this, the website was challenging to navigate, which caused problems for both staff and parents in finding relevant content. With data at the forefront, we tackled this head-on with a deep dive into analytics. The solution? A reconfigured navigational hierarchy that considered the user journey of a variety of key site visitors. Kind on the eyes and a breeze to browse.

Aside from an improved user-journey, Start’s design team were pumped to revamp and breathe new live into St. Brigid’s visual brand identity. We went wild with bright pops of colour, line illustrations, symbols, and a font refresh, to help capture the liveliness and energy of the school. The result was a unique brand identity that helped St. Brigid’s College stand out from the crowd, moving away from the safe and traditional brand colour palette clung onto by schools across Australia.
Better yet, we recognised St Brigid’s need of a site that they could easily self-manage and update post launched. With this in mind, we ensured the team were all geared to go with a comprehensive video library, a training tutorial and simple builder that made adding new content and pages a breeze.
