RTRFM continues to be the sound alternative for local music, arts, and culture in Western Australia.
Since 1977, RTRFM has been the beating heart of Perth’s alternative music scene, championing local artists and providing a platform for diverse voices. With the launch of their new website, they’re taking their mission into the digital age, offering listeners more ways to engage with their favourite programs and discover new sounds.
The redesigned website captures the spirit of RTRFM’s eclectic programming, featuring a dynamic interface that showcases upcoming events, featured music, and the latest stories. With seamless animations and a clean, intuitive layout, the new site makes it easier than ever for listeners to tune in live, explore archived content, and support the station they love.
As RTRFM approaches its 50th anniversary, this digital refresh positions them to continue being The Sound Alternative for generations to come.

Radiothon 2024 Streams Your Support
The 2024 annual Radiothon fundraiser, themed “SENDING OUT A SIGNAL”, now has a dynamic online presence that amplifies its reach and impact. Our user-friendly interface simplifies the process for both long-time supporters and newcomers to contribute, helping RTRFM reach its vital fundraising goals.
The website now features:
- A prominent, easy-to-use donation portal
- Real-time updates on fundraising progress
- Detailed information about subscription tiers and benefits
- A streamlined checkout process for quick and secure transactions
- Mobile-responsive design for on-the-go donations
We’ve also integrated an events calendar showcasing Radiothon’s special programming and live events, such as the kickoff at The Bird and the annual Radiothon Party at The Rechabite. This central hub not only facilitates donations but also builds excitement and community engagement around the fundraiser.
