Also made by Hipstamatic, IncrediBooth is a video app which digitalises a photo booth. Much like a traditional, physical photo booth, IncrediBooth requires people to cram together, strike a pose before striking a few more all whilst everything is being recorded into a video strip.

Although it might not be appropriate for professional use, IncrediBooth is a brilliant app for people who are interested in capturing their favourite memories in a way more exciting than just a normal video!

With effects and filters that include shatter, radical blur, dazzle and cataclysm which is best described as what is seen as Marvel’s Dr. Strange does his sorcery, MixV can make the videos taken on your phone look like it belongs on the big screen.

In addition to its effects and filters, MixV has a professional editing toolkit which allows volume and speed adjustments, clipping and cutting segments alongside video subtitles and film-reel filters. 8. Glitché

Another killer photo app that can be credited as a wicked video app is Glitché. Unfortunately, unlike Hyperskeptiv, not all of Glitché’s effects are accessible for video editing upon the first purchase ($0.99). Only Glitch, Scan, Rad and Ghost in the Shell are. All the other effects such as CHNNLS, PXL GRIB and LCD become accessible after purchasing Glitché Pro. It can be a bit expensive purchasing the premium offering, however, if you’re really into your videos it’s well worth it! Nonetheless, the 4 video effects alone make this app deserving of a download. (And that’s not even taking into consideration Glitché’s photo editing ability.)
