Pioneer Village School (PVS) is an affordable, nondenominational, co-educational private school delivering an excellent education to all of their students.
An existing client of Start Digital, Pioneer Village School first approached our agency in 2017 to update their super out-of-date website. After impressing them (and their community) with the previous scope of work, PVS came straight to Start Digital when the school started modifying their branding and positioning.
Project Overview
With a new school year on the horizon, PVS was after a modern and stylish revamp that presented the primary school in a prestigious manner. A change of the site’s colours and updating the font (to Kepler for headers and Proxima Nova for paragraphs) quickly enhanced the site’s aesthetics and let PVS know that Start would deliver. (Once again!)
Both PVS and Start felt it was extremely important the design presented all content in a manner which was easily accessible for every teacher, parent and student. By utilising a seamless layout on the homepage, breadcrumbs and sidebars through the site, all users can effortlessly navigate to where they want and need to go!
Alongside presenting the school in a distinguished manner, we wanted parents to know their children would be exposed to a high level of education and care at PVS based off the site. A crucial component to achieving credibility and trustworthiness was done through the authentic, on-site and high-quality images taken of the friendly staff and happy students!
With custom features like an active menu that transitions when scrolling, fade in animations and the subtle background blurs, the PVS site oozes sophistication. Ultimately, the website presents the message both parties want to tell – studying at PVS offers the best of the private education system.
Forms With Function
As a standard, all of our websites include a form if not several. For PVS, our digital builders were required to expand upon the basic forms and develop multiple complex and custom forms, including an enrolment form that accepts online payments and a school fees calculator. Containing a number of variables including sibling discounts, early payment discounts and resource levy, the fees calculator isn’t something you can count on seeing on any ordinary school site.
