Gilkison Group has been providing financial advice to Australian families in 1979. Gilkison help a variety of Aussie demographics, including young couples and families, pre & post retirees, military veteran and business owners live out a rich life – whatever that may be to them! Gilkison came to Start through a personal recommendation, wondering if we’d be interested and capable of taking over their half started, nowhere near completed web development project into a published site within 2 months.
With fragments of their project developed by another agency who was struggling to deliver, Gilkison came to Start completely certain of their scope. Their brief was simple – we need a website that ties into our rich life philosophy and presents a rich Australian life developed by November. Because we wanted to assure Gilkison that we could deliver, our team put together a unique, Australian living focused design before the signed approval for the project came through.
A large component to presenting a rich life involved employing a visual collection based around the idea of living an active, happy and full life in Australia. Utilising some of the images Gilkison presented us and stock images, we were able to craft a compilation that perfectly embodies the company’s philosophy.
One of the things that captivated us most about the Gilkison project was the challenge of the short timeline. Our first correspondence with the Gilkison Group occurred late in September 2018, and their new website (permitting a few post-launch modifications) and logo were ready for their annual client function at Optus Stadium come the 28th of November that year.
With a refreshed logo and website, Gilkison soon became interested in a revamped email signature. Applying the new logo, fonts and a richer design, Start swiftly created a new, sleek staff email signature for the group. With their site set up on the user-friendly WordPress, Gilkison frequently adds new blogs after our team taught them how to navigate the CMS.
