With a slew of problems from performance to content, the most crucial component of the existing Deeptech site was that while it was recently redesigned, the website looked outdated and unprofessional. Unfortunately, in the uber-competitive IT industry, this just didn’t cut it and so, we sought out to present Deeptech in a more contemporary, professional and engaging way. We all agreed that the new version of the site needed to be capable of visually competing with other companies in the same space and in-turn boost one’s perception of the busines

With an overwhelming amount of outdated animations, a very bland blue as the background and feature colour alongside a real lack of brand identity or connectivity throughout the site, Start Digital crafted together an engaging design that captivates their corporate audience. We focused on creating a unified visual that doesn’t grow redundant while navigating throughout the site or as design trends come and go.

Upon creating the design, we commenced developing the site in WordPress – this was the ideal CMS given that their team wanted to easily make changes to the site once it was launched. Another shortcoming of the old Deeptech site the content which was numerous in quantity but lacked SEO-friendliness and persuasion. We rewrote much of the content to make it more engaging for visitors and to tick more of Google’s boxes.

Despite having a website since the late ’90s, the Deeptech site was largely invisible to search engines and consequently, missing out on brand awareness, leads and ultimately, clients. Our strategic development of the WordPress site alongside its content was done in a manner to help promote easier indexing and higher rankings within the pages as they are. Our collective changes to content, establishing the primary pages with proper header tags alongside reducing the site’s speed helped Google to rank the site higher within one month.
