Audiofly are an Australian based company that design and build headphones and IEM (In Ear Monitor) earpieces for music lovers and musicians alike. Since launching the company in 2011, Audiofly have grown from strength to strength and are widely recognised as Australia’s leading high quality audio company.
The previous Audiofly site was limiting the businesses ability to grow internationally and it’s instability was preventing them from posting new products online.
Start Digital were engaged to help take Audiofly’s online profile to the next level.

The initial challenge was to migrate content and products from an unstable site into an environment that was both stable and provided the best platform to grow. We isolated all the areas of code causing issues on the old site and moved all high priority content into a new, multi site WordPress build.
The project started in August 2018 and the new site had to launch in time for the new product range launch in October 2018. To achieve this we used a combination of custom code, our own WordPress plugin range and best of breed extensions.
It was important to Audiofly that they had the ability to control and manage all areas of the site. This would allow them to upload new products, change images to suit campaigns, add new pages and create news articles.
The new site launched one week prior to the product launch and work has continued through the development of five supporting international sites for China, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Each international base has full administrative access to their site and can update content to suit their audience.

Alongside the main Audiofly site, each of the five international sites needed to be tailored towards their specific audience. This includes not only updating languages but also currency, content, domain names and promotional campaigns.
Each location has administrative access to update their sites as required and, whilst they can be managed independently, the Audiofly head office has the ability to roll out changes and updates to each version of the site.
