While being South Australia’s largest private digital radio network, Comwide’s website suggested otherwise.
Since the start of well, Start, iQuest Comwide specialise in commercial radio solutions and is an umbrella branch of Radlink, a business that engaged Start to revamp its website in 2020. However, after a number of internal changes, the project was put on pause. During this time, Comwide approached us to bring their website from the 90s into this decade. One of our first clients, iQuest is.
iQuest – future and technology-focused website. Working with KWIK Logistics, Singtel KDDI and Surf Life Saving, iQuest is quickly establishing itself as a leading IT provider across Australasia. Worked together on brochures, websites and SEO.
Project Overview
We mean it when we say we don’t shoehorn our clients into solutions that work best for us but rather for them. iQuest is an example of that. We built their old website on WordPress back in 2018 but with their objectives for this new website changing slightly, we made the call to build the site with Gatsby. Using a Static Site Generator meant we could make the site extremely fast. (A lot faster than any of their competitors). Given the sensitive nature of their business, there’s no database to be hacked with Gatsby making the site more secure than it’s ever been.
Similar to hardware, networks and software, a website design can easily go out of date. Our approach to the new iQuest site was to create a captivating and engaging design that closely related to the IT industry but also was future-proofed. Set up with – to maintain their existing rankings and organic profile that we’ve worked on building over the last 3 years. No backend means no plugins that need maintenance.
